Date: December 16, 2005
The DoubleTree San Jose, has notified the CollaborateCom Conference Committee that the ventilation system in
some of the conference meeting rooms is not functioning properly and required immediate emergency repairs. The
hotel room and the banquet on Monday evening are not affected however, the conference during the day is. The
noise level from the repairs during the day would render a conference impossible. Consequently, the daytime
conference program has been moved directly across the street to the Hyatt. A complimentary shuttle will be
provided for those who do not wish to take the 3 min walk.

The Banquet has been moved from Tuesday 20th to Monday 19th. The reception has thus been removed from the program.
In addition the the following changes have been done:
- Time change.. On Monday and Tuesday, the sessions now start at 16:00 to coincide with Break and Refreshment ending at the same time.
- The room/location information has been added .
- On Wednesday there will be box lunches at 12noon. This allow the participants to bring these lunches to the airport.

The conference programs have been updated. The following changes has been performed:
- The list of session chairs has been finalized.
- The paper "Commutativity-Based Concurrency Control in Groupware", Rui Li, and Du Li has
been moved to Session 14.
- Session 14 Collaborative Editing and Writing Systems and Session 16 Potpourri have been switched.
- Session 5 Collaborative Computing in Overlay Networks and Session 12 Reputation and Trust Management
have been swapped.

October 20, 2005: New Conference Logo
The CollaborateCom Conference has now got its logo. The logo was designed by
Heri Ramampiaro. It is ment to symbolize both communication and
collaboration/cooperation.

Double Tree Hotel, San Jose has been reserved for CollaborateCom 2005. Further information concerning rates and reservation will be added later on the
